MOUNTAIN LIFEWORKS is focused on combating depression, stigmas, isolation and other factors contributing to negative outcomes and critical consequences for vulnerable populations regardless of cause or community. There are many mental health conditions and disorders including: depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychoses, dementia, and developmental disorders including autism. MOUNTAIN LIFEWORKS integrates proven partners and approaches into a growing menu of community-based resources to help address contributing factors caused by a lack of economic inclusion, educational opportunities and meaningful employment that cannot be cured by medication or counseling.

Depression, anxiety, stress and other factors contribute to negative outcomes including poverty, substance abuse and suicide. These factors are not exclusive to any single month, cause or community. MOUNTAIN LIFEWORKS addresses both the temporary symptoms and root causes of these contributing factors to help our neighbors build hope and self-esteem with dignity regardless of age, income or ability.
