CALENDAR

MOUNTAIN LIFEWORKS uses data to increase opportunities and improve outcomes for our most vulnerable and their caregivers. A balanced approach understands poverty and unemployment are not mental health or medical conditions therefore they require different expertise and solutions.

Data shows the average disability poverty and unemployment rate are more than double the non-disabled. CDC data shows 44% of Colorado adults with a disability experience depression compared to 15% of the non-disabled. By analyzing data we identify and target obstacles disrupting the delivery of benefits to eligible end users.

YEAR-ROUND EFFORT

MOUNTAIN LIFEWORKS advocates for a balanced approach to complement one-size-fits-all charities and government systems. MOUNTAIN LIFEWORKS balances short-term charity relief with long-term philanthropic solutions. Both are necessary to relieve immediate suffering and target root causes and contributing factors at the same time.

This innovative model improves outcomes and reduces costs while enabling re-investment in community causes, along side traditional grant cycles and fundraising campaigns. This mobilizes the willing and compassionate and by-passes bureaucracies and politics with local public-private partnerships to make the greatest impact in their community.

Change is a process not an event... that means we need to keep the conversation going!

Join us for Coffee with a Cause and let's talk real local challenges and real local solutions.
